Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Version 1.3. Effective from 2 October 2026. This version does not retrospectively change earlier agreements or record acceptance on a merchant’s behalf.

1. Provider and acceptance

EUWithdraw is provided by LAUDATUS LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 17453960, with registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ (“EUWithdraw”, “we”). Contact: support@euwithdraw.eu. Installing or using the app constitutes agreement to these Terms to the extent permitted by law, and the person acting for the merchant confirms authority to bind that merchant.

2. Service and legal responsibility

EUWithdraw provides technical tools for receiving, recording, acknowledging and managing withdrawal statements and related merchant workflows. It does not act as the merchant, decide whether a statutory or contractual withdrawal right exists, issue refunds automatically, or provide legal advice. Submission of a statement is not confirmation that a request is valid, accepted, refunded, returned or fulfilled.

The merchant remains responsible for its products, contracts, consumer information, withdrawal rules, exceptions, deadlines, refund/return decisions, Shopify configuration and compliance with laws applicable to its business. Features such as deadline checks, blocking rules and evidence exports are workflow aids and must be configured and reviewed by the merchant.

3. Plans and features

EUWithdraw offers Free, Essential and Professional plans. Current price, interval, trial, limits and included features are shown before Shopify asks the merchant to approve a paid subscription. Features marked “coming soon”, beta or unavailable are not included until enabled. EUWithdraw may change plan features prospectively with reasonable notice where required; a material reduction does not override mandatory rights.

4. Billing, trials and plan changes

Paid app charges are billed through Shopify. A paid trial lasts fourteen days unless a different duration is displayed and approved through Shopify. A merchant that has already consumed a trial may not receive another trial. Upgrades, downgrades and cancellations are initiated in the app and take effect according to the Shopify approval flow and the replacement behaviour shown to the merchant.

EUWithdraw does not receive payment-card details. Taxes, currency conversion and Shopify billing presentation may depend on Shopify and the merchant’s jurisdiction.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Merchants can open Shopify’s hosted plan controls from Plans in EUWithdraw without contacting support. Choosing Free stops future paid renewals according to the effective date shown by Shopify. A downgrade or cancellation can be scheduled for the end of the current billing cycle. Shopify calculates and applies any credit. EUWithdraw does not promise immediate cancellation, a prorated credit or a separate cash refund. Statutory rights and Shopify billing adjustments that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. Billing disputes should be reported promptly to support@euwithdraw.eu.

6. Acceptable use and merchant instructions

The merchant must use EUWithdraw lawfully, provide accurate configuration and instructions, maintain authorised Shopify access, and avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive data or using the service to mislead, discriminate, interfere with security or infringe third-party rights. The merchant must not attempt to bypass plan limits, access another merchant’s data, reverse engineer protected parts of the service where prohibited by law, or disrupt the service.

7. Privacy and data processing

The Privacy Policy explains EUWithdraw’s own processing. Customer data processed for a merchant is also governed by the Data Processing Agreement. The merchant is responsible for giving required notices and lawful instructions. Current providers are listed in the Subprocessor Register.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

EUWithdraw and its licensors retain rights in the app, software, branding and documentation. The merchant retains rights in its data. The merchant grants EUWithdraw only the rights needed to provide, secure and support the service. Feedback may be used without identifying the merchant or disclosing confidential information.

9. Availability and support

EUWithdraw aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, Shopify/API changes, internet failures and third-party services can affect operation. Unless a separate written service-level agreement applies, no uptime SLA is offered. Email support is monitored on Belgian business days, Monday through Friday, excluding Belgian public holidays. EUWithdraw aims to send an initial response within three business days; this is a service target, not a guaranteed resolution time.

10. Suspension and termination

EUWithdraw may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful use, material breach or platform requirements, with notice where practicable. The merchant may stop using the Free plan or uninstall the app and may cancel a paid plan as described above. On termination, access ends and data is handled under the Privacy Policy, DPA and Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks.

11. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. EUWithdraw does not warrant that using the app makes a merchant legally compliant or that every request is legally valid. Nothing excludes liability or mandatory remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EUWithdraw is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or data arising from use of the service. EUWithdraw’s aggregate liability relating to the service is limited to the fees paid by the merchant for EUWithdraw during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 for a merchant using only the Free plan. This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Before starting court proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve a dispute through written notice and reasonable discussion. Subject to mandatory law, the courts of Antwerp, Belgium have exclusive jurisdiction. Any mandatory rights or forum protections that apply to a merchant as a consumer remain unaffected.

13. Changes

EUWithdraw may update these Terms for legal, security, platform or service changes. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. The date above identifies the current version.
